Walking to Nowhereby UbersteinyComment: In my opinion the subject is just too blurry. I expect that was intentional, and sometimes I do like the effect, but here it doesn't work for me. Hope you will find this comment to be helpful. |

Lady in Blackby StrikeslipComment: I like your composition. However on my monitor at least I see no detail in her clothing... do you agree? 6 Bump > 7 |

Stareby dsidwellComment: Very well composed! At first glance my gut reaction was "snapshot" but that impression quickly was gone. I especially like the geometric elements of the photo, and of course also the placement of the subject in the frame. The light and shadow is perfect. 8 |

Scene Seen from the Streetby Bruce_the_RobertComment: Your title give me the impression that you are concerned that some voters won't consider this "street photography". I agree with you that it certainly is! however I would have think another title would have been better. I don't consider titles in voting anyway, I just mention it for what it's worth (not much:)
Now for the photo: wow, really excellent grab. I love that she 'caught' you and that you captured the moment. The large window frame gives context and clarity to what I'm seeing, and nicely adds to the composition in it's own right. The hanging hearts hint at Valentines (of course we know because of the challenge date); the reflections in the window aren't distracting at all and indeed add to the feel of this being a street scene. I think you could use a wee bit more contrast, probably via dodge/burn, but this is such a minor nit-pick. One of my top picks; best of luck. |

Street Circusby StuMComment: Nice, nice! Those crazy words "Bik Bok" add a lot to this, and yet I am glad you didn't use that for your title. I think the blur suits this image very well. Happy to see faces, too, and not only the backs of heads. IMO the post processing is a little flat, but I do like the image. 8 |

Lonelinessby e301Comment: This lacks detail in my opinion, but is well composed. |

And Let Thy Feet...by AndrewTOComment: I googled the quote and am surprised to learn that this is an indoor shot! No criticism intended by discovering that fact, btw. Would be even better if the youngster were sharper IMO. |
