Portrait of a Taurus by peeteComment: wow, had to really look at that for a second. great shot. lighting is done well. exposure looks to be just a tad under exposed but not by more than a half a stop. overall great picture |

Strumming...by srdanzComment: I love the compostion! nice use of leading lines! the lighting is a little off, and the color balance is very warm. I think the lighting ratio (the exposure of the light compaired to the exposure of the dark) could use some improvement too. mabey use a white bounce card on the right to return some of the light. The gutiar is great and the expression is wonderful. it's not tac sharp but I think that is ok for this shot. the triangular compostion betwen the face hands and head stock is great though. his watch in his sleave is a little distracting though. I think overall a great job though. I'm glad you tried this. keep shooting! 7 |

My chicksby olnosComment: very intersting shot. I like it a lot. the light on the right side is too close and blowing out the side of her head. the perspective and facial reactions are great though. I am so glad you went for this shot. the free study was starting to get boring to look at. 9 |

Under the Bridgeby ecdillonComment: very interesting subject. exposure is decen on the main part but the background is a little over exposed. this looks like a cool place to shoot. I encourage you to visit 4 or 5 times and try to photograph it in a way that normal people wouldn't |

FRAGILEby RikkiComment: looks too smooth. the image loses it's integrity with the amount of editing that it looks like has been done here. I love your Idea though. the eyes are great, and the vail across the face is very classic. I would watch the lights in her eyes, it almost becomes the focal point in this picture. again though, great job overall 7 |

sanibel butterflyby ArpeggioAngelComment: fireants really? wow....
good photo, kinda cliche but thats ok. everyone thinks that is bad but you have to start somewhere. great job on the framing by the way. it's breaking the rule of thirds but does it nicely. great job, keep shooting |

Spentby JRalstonComment: what a fun image! great job keeping everyting consistent and keeping subject matter interesting. the direct lighting is nice, I would like to mabey see this with a wrap around technique (taking the light and shooting it through a diffusion screen above the subject) overall a great image none the less.8! |

Shannonsby jeffzoetComment: great images, though the lighting is kinda harsh
her face looks good but the horizontal stripes and her legs are all but lost. watch your lighting ratios. |
