Stands Out In A Crowd by ColeyComment: Nice, this shot is pretty good and I think you made a right choice to make this sepia toned. Just to nitpick though a couple of the feet are slightly out of the DOF (the closes one and the one farthest away) but other than that, definately one of the better shots in the challenge IMO, I gave it an 8. |

A nice fitby dogzComment: Nice idea but not really pulled off perfectly, mainly I dislike the slight movement of the foot itself. Also I think I would have liked it better if the WB would be cooler as I don´t really care that much for the yellow toning. 6 from me, mostly for the creativity and effort you put in this one. |

Shoequilibriumby homensComment: I just don´t get what I am looking at here so I find it hard to rate this fairly. |

ShOe aRtby senojComment: Well this is the first 1 I give out this challenge and there were 2 reasons.
1. The focus is way off so there is no friggin way to see what is in the picture.
2. I can´t make out anything that even closely resembles a shoe so as far as I am concerned it´s off topic no matter what the title says.
Would have given 3 if I had been able to make out an out of focus shoe. I encourage you to keep up the experimentation though but if you want to do well in these challenges you have to stick to the basics wich is to at least have the shot in focus... |

Out of Placeby tkjaerComment: To be honest I don´t really care for the PP on this one, a little too grainy and "rough" for my taste. 5 from me. |

Soft Shoesby MikeOComment: Of course this is just my opinion so just take it like that but I have never ever understood why soft focus was so popular a decade ago, I just don´t like that style. However, this is not a bad choice for a soft focus shot if you neccesarily have to do one but I would probably have rated this higher if it had been pristine sharp... |

In My Father's Shoesby byshenComment: This photo brought a smile on my face, I love his expression. However, even though the quality of the photo is very nice this just looks like a snapshot of your kid to me, a good snapshot but nothing more. I have a feeling I would have liked it more if the horizon hadn't been tilted, if you hadn´t had that shadow in the lower right corner and if this shot had been wider or further away so that I could see the surroundings better. 6 from me. |

AAAAAAAAA!!!!!by larscComment: I like the idea but not the outcome, mainly for 3 reasons. The shoe that is doing the "crushing" is out of focus so you need a smaller aperture to get the whole scene in the DOF. Secondly a small portion of the crushing shoe is overlapping her heel. Thirdly the lighting is very uneven between the shoe and the girl, probably because the shoe is in a shadow and the top half of the girl is in direct sunlight. I really encourage you to keep experimenting as I like your thinking with this but this particular shot isn´t hitting the spot with me, I gave it a 4. |
