Creation of the Universeby scudsComment: Great shot. Maybe a slight improvement would have been to move the light up a little bit, centering in the space within your hands. The other source of light coming from our perspective was necessary to detail the hands, but it is too bright on the middle finger on the left hand. Overall, good work I really like what you did - 9 |

New Dayby KaDiComment: Great idea, good delivery. Composition could have been a little better by bringing the top down a little bit and avoiding the open white space on the top right, secluding the center as the only source of light. |

In the Beginning, God Created the Earthby StangComment: The only thing that is keeping me from giving a 10 is it's not making me go "wow", so close to being a perfect photo. And just out of curiosity, why not quote the entire first line? "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Especially since the sky (heavens) is what really makes this image stand out. That didn't effect my rating though - 9. |

Dirt Doodling by glad2badadComment: This was without a doubt the best photo in the challenge. Why anyone would give you a 2 or a 3 on this is beyond me (or anything below a ten for that matter). It was a great shot and candidly captured boredom, good job and congratulations! |

Final Postby blemtComment: I like the new life springing up from the tomb, and good shot overall. your title helped draw attention to your image and helped it stand out from other similar shots in the contest. but your shot is what you are rated on, and you did a really good job. |

Keeper of Their Storiesby JesuispeureComment: First of all, as you have probably seen there are a lot of angel shots in this contest. Yours is the best of them. Second, apart from the relativity to other angel shots, this is a great photo. Good title, too. I like how the book is only half-full, even though the cemetery is packed. Reminding us that it is a never ending, continual process (life and death). This statue will outlive all of us and keep ours, as well as their stories. 9 |

memento moriby datcatComment: Great selection. I'm sure you were looking at several images before taking this photo, and it was a good choice. You took a simple image and made it great. I like the shadows on the cross and flower, too. |

anonymously cagedby BruBComment: This image evokes good emotion/sentiment. Well, good as in clever, eluding to the two different worlds (life and after life) and how we are separated from each other. Good work. |

Snow Angelby KaDiComment: It took me a while for this image to jump out at me, even though I saw it several times. I don't know why, it's great! Reminds me of the Biblical passage about in order to enter the kingdom of God you must become like a child, invoking the image of a child image and how death is kind of a "sleep", as the image portrays. The several thought/emotions the image invokes, a good title, good techinical aspects (composition, exposure) . . . 10 |
