 Used a small flashlight to light behind the hands, and another one to light the fingers, and front part of the hands.

Wanted to give the idea as if god was holding the universe in it's hands, till it exploded!

Levels to remove remaints of the background, also tweaked the curves for some parts left. Applied shadows&highlights to enhance the hands, adjusted yellow and red colors (hue and sat). Resized and USM. Save for web.

Nice concept. Couple of minor issues: a bit overexposed on the fingers, and the fingernails need a bit of trimming. Overall nicely done.

great idea! Like the black surround. However, lighting seems too bright for this scene - maybe a smaller aperture, underexposed picture, with contrast & brightness tweaked in post-processing would have worked better?

although I am not much for the biblical theme in this one, I like your idea and if the light would have been a little dimmer (so as not to wash out part of your fingers) it would have been better.

I like this idea. I think this would have been a bit better if the light bulb was not visible in the photo.

I like the idea a lot, but the bulbs shining through the fingers is a bit bright... slightly more diffuse light might have been better.

Great shot. Maybe a slight improvement would have been to move the light up a little bit, centering in the space within your hands. The other source of light coming from our perspective was necessary to detail the hands, but it is too bright on the middle finger on the left hand. Overall, good work I really like what you did - 9
