This is a fine photo. Sure there are some strong highlights (some would say blowout) but overall its the high contrast (along with an engaging subject) that make this photo stand out.

I like this pic. It does have a few issues with the strong highlights on the trunks in the center grouping, but the light is what makes this photo. That and the way the branches from this tree stretch out across the frame. Quite lovely, and graceful.

Didn't vote this challenge, but I love this image, especially the background. The photo overall is lovely, but the hot spots on the bottom of the vase are distracting, as is the hot spot on the right hand side. Just cropping the right-hand hot spot would crowd the flowers too much, I think, so they would need to be moved a titch. If you ever try a reshoot, I'd love to see it in your portfolio.
