Nice Pairby DonCComment: Nice photograph, but I have a few thoughts:
The lightly colored flowers would stand out more against a dark background, probably leaves in this situation. The highlights to the left of the flowers actually pull the viewer attention away.
I think this is an example of shallow depth of field becaue the leaves are clearly out of focus. |

Lazing Aroundby woodenshoe50Comment: Interesting shot..
I think you could have moved the subject out of the center of the frame in order to make this a little more dynamic. Movement to the left would probably have been best so the panda was looking into the frame.
I also don't don't think you leveraged Deep DOF as part of the composition. The foliage in front is in focus and it does help to frame the panda, but it's not a key element of the composition. |

Allow me to introduce my friend...by StevePaxComment: It made me smile, which will help the score.
The lighting appears to come straight from the front, which isn't complentary for the model or the banana. Some more dramatic lighting might have helped! Maybe some soft if the relation between these friends is more than casual. |

Sea terminusby bpickardComment: It's a great viewpoint.... but maybe not that unusual.
With that said, I'm going with a relatively high score because:
I really like the composition
The color of the rock stands out nicely against the blue background
Good texture and the small building is nicely exposed
Great clouds

my buttercupby shutterflyComment: The flower needs better focus in order for this to work for me. Good concept and the execution was almost there. |

Excuse Me Sir...by KonadorComment: Interesting concept.. but the subject outside the pants needs to be more in focus for this to grab my attention. |

Down and Outby ellamayComment: This is a great shot, but I would like to have seen the unusual viewpoint theme pushed a little farther. (7) |

Play Timeby soupComment: I like this alot! I would normally recommend more contrast between subject and background, but I wouldn't change a thing here. |

Casual portraitby rameviComment: I am ok with the "casual" approach, but I think you can do more without going formal. Looking through the hair is ok, but I would like more light on the eyes. The skin tones also seem to be "off" a bit and I think that can be fixed within the adjustments allowed by rules. |
