The phases of thinkingby CalamitysMaster00Comment: Excellent picture! My only comment is maybe the whole picture in genereral could be a bit lighter. Your use of light clothes against the graffiti may become more accentuated if you played around with that. |

Smith Mountain Lake Sunsetby SJCarterComment: For me, the color works really nice. With the colour and the clouds, it adds an almost mystical dynamic to the picture. Cool photo! |

Greyledgeby SJCarterComment: Love everything about the picture, but I'm not sure about the sky. The hue is to different from the water. Very nice picture |

IMG_6603.jpgby christie3Comment: I like the color of the water and at the same time I don't. I know that doesn't make sense, but I think a tighter crop towards the top where you you can see the effect of the long exposure will help. The eye won't be as distracted by the water in teh foreground.
I would play around with levels and some selective color to see if you can enhance the picture.
Very nice photo |

Img_6738.jpgby christie3Comment: Of the three, I like this one the best. Compositionally, it works for me. Great feeling with the long exposure, and nice detail as well. Veru nice! |

IMG_7046dpc.jpgby hstegComment: wow! what a cool bug
Agree with cpanaioti about more DOF. Some detail is also lost under the shell in the front where it's head is... Maybe it's my monitor though.

I know... my bees never cooperate unless I threaten to put them in the freezer :P (slows insects down when you put them in the freezer or fridge)

Glenns Falls 2.jpgby nicco2752Comment: Nice picture! I prefer this one to glenn falls 1 as the composition is simpler, which I think makes the picture fabulous. |

Winter Bench.jpgby nicco2752Comment: Oh no! winter is coming! Well, not for a while at least *whew*
I like this photo with the bench. I'm not sure what that is in the foreground. It looks like a thing for storing garbage or recycling? Anyways, I think a tighter crop around the bench to get rid of the orange thing on the right, the object in the front and the dark strip on the bottom will bring more of the focus on the bench.
Also, I know you didn't have any control, but this picture would be much nicer if it weren't snowing. Could you have gone back and shot it when it was not snowing?
Love how the tree branches are covered in snow.
