Hierophantasiaby Joey LawrenceComment: Originally posted by Alecia: well...if dreams are the subconscious mind of the dreamer wanting to communicate with the conscious mind of the self--and since your inner, subconscious mind doesn't know limitations such as doubts and fears--your mind wants to communicate with you in your waking state to give you feedback on your experiences. right? ok. and the couple of things i have read about snow in dreams seems to be associated with the confrontation of suppressed emotions, inhibitions, etc., and the need to allow yourself to enjoy some long awaited pleasure.
so...assuming all that to be true, then talking to yourself in your sleep suggests that you are consciously trying to subconsciously communicate with your conscious self and subconsciously try and tell your conscious self that you are subconsciously repressing or inhibiting yourself from something.
In other words, never go in against a sicilian, when *death* is on the line. ;) |
thank you for the info, alecia |
