Tenodera aridifoliaby xianComment: Actually, this is Tenodera aridifolia sinensis. The red mandible structure gives it away. |

Tower of Sandby TiagoComment: It is always jun to mix water and sand into a slurry and dribble it into a tower. This is much the same way stalagmites are formed. |

ShroomHengeby L1Comment: As mycelia grow out from a tree they form long rings around the wettest parts. In this case the tree had very symmetrical branches and leaves. Even though the tree is long gone the mushrooms still bud from the same mycelia. If you Identify the type of mushroom, you could find out what type of tree was there. |

Amazement in Blueby medinfo2000Comment: Photographing fish in a tank can be hard. If you know the thickness of the glass in mm, you can back focus twice the distance in mm to get the subject in focus. I once had to catalogue all the fish in a local pet shop. Using a remote flash from the top of the tank realy provides the best illumination. |

Eclipse/Gloryby DarlisaComment: Noise is a big problem in this image... try black frame subtraction if your camera has it. |
