Girls Only !by ShiiizzzamComment: Thanks for the nice memories! I had my own all boys club, with the same kind of old wooden door... those were the days. This personally hits the spot for this week's challenge. Good luck! |

My First Loveby AleciaComment: This picture doesn't remind me of childhood, because I wasn't raised close to a big body of water, but I can easely imagine it. I chose it between my favorites because it's a beautifull, very well composed image. |

Tatooineby jenaromComment: Definitely meets the challenge. It reminded me of one of the first 3 movies when this 2 guys were in a planet, in the middle of the desert, in a position very much like this composition. Fun idea. It made me smile... I would have openned my view a little bit more, to convey the solitude of this two characters (although maybe you were unable to open the angle and avoid the real surroundings, in which case you should have gone to a real desert to make the photo -just kidding!-). It would have looked nice if the shadows were more a part of the composition, even if it ment taking the figures from the back of the subject. I white cloth filter would have helped you avoid the severity of the direct sunlight. |

Flying Paper Planes From Grandpa's Roofby amonteforteComment: Thanks all for the comments. I was asked in many of them how I did this photo: I took a picture of the sunset from my roof, on Friday night. I printed this image, and the next day I went back to the same spot on the roof. I used a very thin fishing line to place the paper plane on the horizon (with my wife’s help), and shoot as many as possible, at all sorts of angles. I used a mirror to light up the paper which of course was too dark against the sunset light, and moved out of focus quite a bit with the wind. Most takes were unusable cause the fishing line showed. It was pretty hard to get it as I imagined it. At the end I had at least as many as 8 options and I will never be sure if I chose the right one. Apparently I didn´t. |

Yes, sir!by stephanComment: Not only the belt, but the reference to a snake, makes this image, for chidhood, a severe one, but it is technically very good, and artistically very aesthetic. |

Painted Horses by jmsetzlerComment: Of the several carrousel images on this week's challenge, this one is by far the best. The cropping was very well balanced, and the colouring and light are marvelous. It seems to be moving. Perhaps another horse in the background instead of a person would have made this perfect. Good luck! |

Let's get ready to Rumble!!!by YomiComment: I knew the number one cliché this wek would have to be toys. This image has the distinction of being the best of that category. |

Not Again...by alanfreedComment: I enjoyed this one. The idea of another lost in the gutter was very good, and the focus on the first plane makes the composition stand out nicely. Nice shadow on the lower right. I lost some of this in my childhood days, so it does meet the challenge from my perspective. |
