Okraby ssenguptaComment: How can so many sliced pieces be so unique? Great photo. Patern evident yet variety of each item keeps interest far from boring. The shadowed spacing enhances the color and shapes. Thanks. |

Leslie's Concoctionby dwolffComment: Is this where budding archeologists experience the thrill of digging through layers of unknown material in need of identification and later food for thought? Some of the forground towards the left being out of focus was distracting but the top blue colors livened up the scenery. The lighting is effective at demontrating uneven surface. I liked the transition between the top right darks against the lower left lighter noodles. Thanks. Now I'm hungry. |

Granny Smith's Wild Sisterby tyt2000Comment: Excellent choice of background color that has been lacking in a lot of challenges this time arround. I should give you 12 for punching this point home. Great focus, shadow play and creation. Gives a whole new meaning to "...taking a bite of the forbiden apple". Good submission. Thanks. |

We got a live one!by aKiwiComment: At first I found the image stagnant but got excited when I noticed the water droplets on the apple and arrow. When I see more after taking a second look at a picture, I feel rewarded somehow. The white background makes the subject stand out but removes in my eye the artistry of color and motion that could have enhanced such a great story telling theme shot. Thanks a lot. |

AT YOUR SERVICEby k9shadow1Comment: Sharing one small 3100 Nikon camera with many students, we often make the same effect of reflecting flash light on dimly lit indoor subjects. The flash seen on the desert was distracting. Can I please have leftovers when your done? Thanks. |

burnt beerby dsmboostaholicComment: Beautiful ash burnt can but I find the other challenge entries topped this image as whacky. Good luck with your entry. |

Playing With Your Foodby bclementsComment: I just love this photo, period. Initially I gave it a 9 after a quick scan of all thumbnails. For days I would spot it somewhere on the edge of my screen. Lets face it, popcorn invented the wacky in food. The subject is fantastic. The busy background adds interest but never steals the focal point and expression of the human popcorn popper. The attraction to the girl just spins us immediately back to the corn flying in the foreground in her face and seemingly floating in a juggling pattern thanks to her open fingers and arm position. Focus and framing is wowingly done. 10 and adding to my favorites collection. Thanks. |

PB,B &Hby lcarterdavisComment: Clarity, crisp focus, wowed me at first sight with the normalcy of wacky foods we know regular people eat. I was distracted by the upper right corner line of bricks missing. Drop of water on table lower right front a great discovery. Big niner, great photo. |

Peanut Butter, Sardine & Chocolate Sandwichby DougPazComment: You will never see me bite into this sandwich. Excellent composition and picture quality. The background seems pixel deficient. I would have liked a complementary color as background. You speared the toothpicks right through this challenge with ease. |

Flowerpot Dessertby TressiderComment: Fantastic subject but lousy background. With effort and immagination I would have given you a 9 or 10. You know what they say in the photo world..."Don't neglect your background." I loved the subject. Thanks. |
