Out of the water ....NOW...!by JuliBocComment: Nice image....I can see this blown up and put in a summer cottage some where. I like the composition with the people in the lower right corner looking out into the water. Good contrast with dramatic clouds over head. |

Newport Harbor Lightby CathseyeComment: A shot I have been wanting to get myself for quite some time. Personally, I think it is cropped a little to tightly on the right side but other than that a great shot. 9 |

Ripley Fallsby sysopComment: Nice cascading waterfall. The overall image has a brownish tinge to it which makes the water look dirty. The water was crystal clear. I would have liked to see this shot on a different white balance to remove the brown. OK, on to the composition. I think its perfect. I like the lying tree braches across the front of the frame; it adds depth and interest which helps lead the viewers eye to the foot of the waterfall, then obviously up it. Perfect use of a long shutter to get that silky look of water in motion. 8 |

Cruisingby LalliSigComment: The back drop makes this shot. Looks like an ad in a pamphlet at the dealership. My only suggestion would be to clone out the three orange objects behind the volve. 8 |

Nicky Hayden, winner of the Dutch TT MotoGP by AzrifelComment: The best motorcycle photo in the challenge. The tight crop works well for this shot. The white edge of the track in the top right of the frame is a bot overexposed. This tends to draw the viewers eye away from the subject. Overall a good shot. 8 |
