Subway - A public form of Transportationby bigfishComment: ahhh, i've found the artistic image from germany, that will in all probabillity (sp.) get lost in the shuffel between images that are less worthy to grace the same wall on which this might be hung...let alone the same page. please let my vote lend you some help in this matter little as it might be. good luck 10 |

Great Lakes Watercraftsby flip89Comment: good luck chicago... :O)
it looks a little low res. and chunky to me as well as it was maybe taken to far in sharpening....but hey there's the tour boat....lol
the sail boats are staggered really well..its almost as if the image would be better with out (my beloved) light house as part of the compostion...
bt i suspose it adds in it own way...would be cool with more popping colors.... |

Through diaphanous wing by strangeghostComment: very nice.
i can't tell you how jealous i am i've been trying to get a shot of one of these litle guy for awhile...its the exact same type of bird to red neck and all..i'm not sure the kind of humming bird. but hey its ok i'll just sit here and stare for the next min. or to then i'll use it as model shot for when ever i can find and take the one i'm stocking.
again nicly done, and congrats on the blue
(say when can we get together so an astro shoot?)

30 Seconds or Moreby MayaMComment: the accessive neatimage/smoothing for nosie reduction really kills this image to me. as well as the fact that it is not very strong compositionaly the leading line in the image (the rail) takes you eye to the center where no subject is found....the subject have been split to one side or the other.
IMHO would be stronger if you had picked a side to shoot. and put the rail eigther accross at the bottom of the image...(in the case of the solider field as the subject) or the rail running down the right side looking over the raod toward the city.
in any event it is a passible shot for the challenge but it won't get more than a 5 from me due to the above mentioned reasons. |

Arbor Lea Cottageby admart01Comment: way over exposed on the front wall, its too smooth and you've lost the texture. up the shutter a smig and lighten the door area in PS later if it needs it. |

New Beginningsby sherpetComment: looks to my eye as if you have over sharpened this, and possible over saturated it as well. the image its self isn't the strongest, and the boat as an element is on the distracting side would've been nicer IMO if you had framed it out. |

yep it was GTG shot... one of the better motion panning ones i took, but i gess i should've just gone simple on the title and followed the rules down the line..
