This is beautiful and will come close to winning this challenge. Some will find the exaggerated saturation and what appears to be huge amounts of NI overpowering, but to be honest I quite like the effect. My main qualm with this image is that it's a little hard to consider what appears to be an island with trees growing on it to be a rock.

hehehehe... very clever! MIght have been slightly stronger if you'd eliminated a few of the shadows and the scissors were a bit 'shinier' but no matter I'd say you'll do very well in this challenge! 8

The dark area on the right of the frame is really distracting - if you cropped that out I'm sure it would add significant to the image. Aside from that I really like the moment you have captured here. 6.

I'm thinking you went a little overboard when it comes to dodging the eyes. Otherwise a really nice portrait and probably a contender in this challenge. Great subject, and a nice use of light.
