Marilyn Dreams in High Keyby KDOComment: Interesting idea - I think though, that while the high key effect is not bad here, the soft focus just doesn't do this any favours. |

Michael W. Smith in Concertby jpochardComment: Well this is well focussed and you got close to him, I can't find much else that excites me about this though. THe lighting is a bit ho-hum. |

Captivityby TychoComment: Great gacial expression - the black and white is effective here. Like the subtle angle of the bars. |

St. Louis Landingby xcharrierComment: You chose a nice time of day for this shot - the water is gorgeous, I'd like to see a bit more in the wawy of building lights so perhaps a longer exposure would have improved this, but that aside this is really great. |

Bleak Bokehby Bear_MusicComment: Wow, that's an interesting score graph you've got there - yep, I would have expected to see this one in the sixes. It has a lot going for it. The lighting in particular is superb. |

Two Zebrasby dsa157Comment: Spectacular composition. Wondergul abstract - and it's images like this that make me think of using a border every once in a while. 10. |

Morning Greetingby librodoComment: Great portrait. Golden cast to the lighting works really well, if this is librodo I don't quite agree that this is your best shot for the year (though who am I to judge - I think you know your own work better than anyone else) - if this is anyone else - take the fact that I thought this might be one of librodo's images as a compliment :). Whatever the case this is still a 9.
Edit: had another look at this - and after staring into those incredibly deep eyes, I can't help but bump this to a ten - maybe it was the right choice :P! |

Rose of Sharonby bobdaveantComment: Very pretty - nice water droplets, I'd like to see this a little more vivid - either with slightly brighter sunlight, or push the processing a little. |
