Open Wide and say AHHHHby BAMartinComment: I really like this concept. I would have cropped in a bit tighter though. The focus isn't right.. it's soft throughout |

A Good Mixby RuchartComment: Very neat. A few suggestions/nitpicks.. the glare on the glass is pretty distracting as is that curly thing (a hair?) on the stem of the glass and the lighter shade on the right side of the image. I would have tried illuminating the base a little bit more to bring out its shape. Overall it's very well done and I like the glowing blue. 7 |

What I Seeby arnitComment: I like the simplicity of this shot, but the green isn't noticeable enough. You should try to help bring it out a bit better to get your point across. |

New house on the blockby JeanComment: I'm having a hard time figuring out what I"m looking at... is it a reflection? or is it the inside of a room looking out? I would have cropped off the excess at the right side and the bottom to help isolate your subject a bit better |

sweet & sourby Pep VentosaComment: I like this picture, it's very painterly. I think it's the lack of sharp focus in this picture that helps achieve that effect. That said there are a few small things that stand out... like the lighter spot on the left side of the green apple and the purple spots on the red one. I like the border too. |

Welcome Home, Troops!by ArtifactsComment: This image would be 10 times better if I knew what that yellow thing was. Also, quite a good attempt at this technique, might I suggest setting your sprayer to spray out more drops and less mist? You'll get less tiny bubbles (so you'll see more inside each bubble) This technique works best if you can get the bubbles to not have that dark ring around the sides.. I"m not sure how you would eliminate it, but I've seen it done. |

"_________"by mbardeenComment: This image is powerful. This reminds me so much of a doctor's office when the doc comes in and says "I have some bad news......." ***Shiver*** 7 |

A Glass With Strawberriesby GolferDDSComment: A very nice and simple idea! I like it! A couple nitpicky things though... especially when working with food, take a good hard look at how your food looks. Your greens look reasonably good but that strawberry in the centre should have been tucked in elsewhere or turned over (because of the white spot). I would try a little more contrast and saturation in the reds. good enough for a 7! |
