This is great! There was a guy in my photography program that used to do pics with these action figures. They were really cool and so is this. (Adam is that you? Just checking...)

It's a shame most of the people on here can't look past that one little speck on your image. It's super minor and doesn't warrant lowering the score they would have given you (I dont know if any of them took the speck into consideration though). I thought this was a pretty good image deserving of 6.2... The only thing I would alter is the lighting on the guitar itself. Moving the light to cast shadows from the strings, etc would help give it a little more dimension and really give it that extra bump to make this a top 10 shot.
Great job

I did not vote on this image because I felt I could not step back far enough to give it a score it would have deserved. She is a very pretty model, she has a nice complexion and great hair however I felt you were pushing it just a bit too much with the revealing bikini (which is tied too tight on the hips btw) So I didn't vote on it cuz I would have likely added another 1 to that list. However, when I look at it again it doesn't deserve a 1, but it does not deserve a 10 either. I would have likely given this a 6 due to small imperfections in the shot itself and also due to what I felt was a bit of tastelessness (her nipples should be covered up completely if it's to be a cover shot..)

I had your shot pegged as a top 10. Shame it didn't do better.

I'd like to offer a little insight as to why someone might feel this is worth a 1 or 2 or 3 (even if I did not give this score). The idea and the composition are pretty good, but the image is lacking technically. Some people on dpc feel that if you're lacking in technics on your shot, it doesn't deserve higher than a 5. There's a short list of small stuff that could be improved upon...some of which I already mentioned in my previous comment. The lighting isn't bad and I wouldn't change too much about it except to make it a little tiny bit more towards the back to get rid of the glare on the berry (you can use a reflector or white cardboard to get some of the excess light to fall on the front of the picture) You might want to check the white balance on your camera before you shoot like crazy (it looks a bit yellow.. not major and you can probably fix it in photoshop or whichever program you use). Helping the lighting out a little and checking the exposure (it is a bit dark) will help the saturation of your picture a little too since it is undersaturated right now. I would use the unsharp mask on this at a lower level since it doesn't look really sharp (minor fix). And just make sure if you dont have a strawberry with a nice green top, to try and hide the drying out brown part by tilting the berry a bit further back. All in all I like your picture and this is why I decided to come back and leave a lengthier comment (i am not part of the critique club)however I think you're lucky to have gotten 15th because voters are usually a whole lot harsher. Congrats!
