one of my favourites.. a bit of an underdog I guess, but I wished this would have placed higher! Its very well done, I am sure you must be pleased with how it turned out. :)

I thought this one should have placed. Or at least beat many of the others who placed higher. :-(

Yellow on yellow--a daring choice, I must say. But your wonderful lighting makes it work wonderfully! 9

I like the softness of this one. The composition is good and I like the use of a yelllow subject on the yellow background.

wow. Wow. WOW. This is so simple, but so so beautiful. Yellows are hard to photography well, and you've done a magnificent job. I hope to add this to my favourites once the challenge is over. Its like high key but with yellow. How creative and beautifully executed. I love the lighting from the upper left. Tthe yellow gradient and highlights on the buttercup are super! 10

What a great picture. I think this is one of the more creative shots of a flower that I have seen. It's beautiful! I like the texture of the flower in the foreground. All I can say is - Excellent

Interesting high key approach. I like this idea. If this isn't in my favorites the nite the challenge ends, remind me. I want it.

A bit too bright and therefore harsh on my eyes. Otherwise nice.

I really like the positioning of the flower. A different background color might have made for some interesting contrast.

The flower is wonderful. Being yellow on yellow is both a cool idea and a negative. The near parts of the flower are clear and distinct, but the farther parts blend into the similar colored background. Maybe a little more even lighting would have helped this. Score upgrade from 6 to 7. Rob the Swash

The super monotone. Could someone turn this down? It's awful bright. Flower looks really fake. I'm not crazy about the angle this was taken at either.

Brave, very brave. Yellow on yellow but you pulled it off marvellously. 7

Yum. Just a yummie shot. I wish the focus on the bottom petal was a bit more crisp. Still the color is sooooooooo nice.

Absolutely Beautiful. This one will be added to my favorites. Actually it will be the first one I've added to my Faves list. Good job. I wonder what this would have looked like with a soft greean border. (just curious)
I hope this places, it definitely deserves to. :-)

Really captures the essence of this buttercup, great concept. Love the way it almost blends in with the background. I'd have prefered a little less glare on the stem. Something about the composition bothers me... maybe I'd like the angle of the stem more shallow so there's less white space at the right hand side. 9

Good idea and I like the high-key, but not quite sure about the composition.

Nice tones here: delicate and detailed. Lighting and exposure were successful. I like it when people aren't afraid to use the lighter tones throughout.

nice proportions and color but could use a slight bit more focus and a little more even lighting (not COMPLETLY even but enough so it doesn't hurt the eyes. a 6
