Train Wheelsby jonpinkComment: A good, original compositional choice. The colors look like it was shot with dyalight white balance in tungsten illumition. the effect is very nice, wouldn't change it. |

BROKENby kkorbelComment: great subject! Good use of negative space. I'd have been sorely tempted to clone out the wires, LOL. Guess there was nothing you could really do to eliminate them.
I think my only serious suggestions would be to increase contrast and sharpen slightly more post-resizing to bring out some of the interesting texture in the coach & field, and also to try for more contrast in the sky; the sky contrast might be enhanced by creative use of channel mixing during grey conversion, or a polarizer might have brought out more contrast in the original shot. |

Antiqueby LenMComment: Good use of narrow DoF; you might have stoped down one more stop to get the entire wooden rim in focus, still throwing out the spokes & hub; really just my opinion, it does work fine as-is. |

Rusty Rideby lelle03Comment: Heh heh, slow indeed! the hard light works well, but the image would have more impact with a more unusual perspective. Perhaps a lower, closer viewpoint, or...? |
