Don't Worry Be Happyby JaimeVinasComment: Woo, retina burn. Ok going to have to rest my eyes now. I see spots when I close them :P
Joking aside I like the randomness of the water droplet's and colors. Deserves a good score. |

Odd Duckby RiderGalComment: So close! Would of been a great capture with the lighting and colors if the focus would not have been off. Wish you well in the challenge. |

Tobar Mhoire Bàghby taljComment: The circular fisheye lens gives your photograph a good effect. Nice colors and lighting. However I think if you would of cropped the top and bottom so the the venting did not show in the picture, your effect would of been better. I know you would of lost the houses on the hill at top and part of the dock anchor at bottom but it would of made me focus on the reflections in the water more.
Still a nice shot. |

Vesikannuby sallyjo1Comment: Nice and simple and good composition. But I feel the lighting could of been better and the focus seems a bit soft. |

A Way of Lifeby BudComment: nice point of view and composition. The boat is so green it almost makes me think this is a boat challenge as it takes over as the subject and makes the water bland. Still a good shot and deserves a good score. |

Water Glass Eyesby smykComment: Creative and nicely done. I think the title would of been better as "Glass Eye" but does not take away from the photograph. Nice job! |

Trinity Episcopalby SJCarterComment: WoW! I was looking through the photo gallery when this popped out at me. Wonderful subject and great processing. When I seen it I reminded me of one of the old postcards but with a new feel to it. The red bricks and the amazing sky gives of a wonderful contrast. Great job! |

15.jpgby KSHOLLYWOODComment: I like the action in this shot and you did a good job freezing the ball but the face of the picture is a little dark. You can bring his face out of the shadows by doing the following in Photoshop, assuming you are using PS. If not you can do it in other programs I'm sure.
In Photoshop make a duplicate layer. Then desaturate the duplicate layer. Now invert the duplicate layer. Still on the duplicate layer go to filters > blur > G-Blur and set to 20%. Now all you have to do is set the duplicate layer to "Overlay".
This will bring out the darker areas but will not effect the remainder of the image as much. You may have to adjust the occupancy of the duplicate layer to liking.
Hope this helps.

JASON-ALEXANDER-031207-005-dpc.jpgby jblaylockraynerComment: I bet is was a fun adventure. He was my favorite actor on Seinfeld. It appeared to me he has a natural funny side and would be a wonderful person to photograph. I agree with Brad I did never saw the light, I was focus on the subject.
Do you know what this pose reminds me of? Does anyone remember the episode where George posed in his boxers and had the film developed at the local lab. Same episode that Jerry was caught breaking his radio to get the post office insurance to pay for it.
Great shot!!! |
