Funny man Jason Alexander - AKA George Costanza. I had less than 10 minutes with the guy in a conference room - Such a bad setting and I didn't know what to do with him. I ended up only getting about 5 frames of him because we were laughing so much. I got him to do this pose and then ran over and grabbed his feet and started wiggling them to tell him what to do - He asked what kind of pose this is for and I told him it was for a gay magazine called "Honco - Men in Boots" That was it then we just started to laugh so much - The light was awful and most pics were blurred cause neither of us could stay still - I then said pretend you are a tiger and crawl towards me... Not another frame was taken as I was on the floor laughing so hard - The assistant to Jason had to leave the room and Jason himself rolled off the table - A brilliant man and a not so brilliant shoot but loved every minute of it!

I bet is was a fun adventure. He was my favorite actor on Seinfeld. It appeared to me he has a natural funny side and would be a wonderful person to photograph. I agree with Brad I did never saw the light, I was focus on the subject.

Do you know what this pose reminds me of? Does anyone remember the episode where George posed in his boxers and had the film developed at the local lab. Same episode that Jerry was caught breaking his radio to get the post office insurance to pay for it.

Great shot!!!

Great story, and you captured a really natural smile on Mr. Alexander. Congrats all around; Pug-H started a thread after he spotted your photo here.

Funny - I never even saw it - the photograph kept my eyes attached exactly where they should have - the subject matter. the mark of a great image imo.

You are totally right - The whole room was a nightmare - Even trying to flash him resulted in terrible reflections on the back windows... All a nightmare but memorable shoot - Of course being news I am not allowed to edit the pics too much and change the picture otherwise I would have got rid of the light.

Very funny story! I really lost it with "Honco - Men in Boots".
I know you couldn't do much about it, but that light fitting (I guess) is really horrible.
Great portrait, by the way. ;-)

Well for as much laughter as you two had, this is really a great shot.
(wish I'd been there for that 5 minutes)

"Someone" was supposed to give me a jingle one of these days...
;)
