Whaddaya lookin at?by overcloverComment: I don't see where the "No Confidence" factor comes in. The photograph is well above average IMO. There are a few things that could improve the photograph like softening the Shadow under the chin and "maybe" the eyes being a little sharper. But with that said the photograph as-is would of received a high score from me. The model is elegant and very photogenic. From a technical standpoint I like the lighting, tilt, composition, focus, and tight crop. For someone that has no dreams of becoming a professional photograph, you truly have the talent to be.
Get the confidence, you will succeed! Great Photograph.

IMG_6330-720.jpgby idnicComment: I was just browsing the new uploaded pics and came across this.
Very nice, I don't think I have seen a wedding photo like this before. The only distraction to me is the reflection of the photographer(??) to the right of the bride. Other than that a awesome shot. Did you come up with this idea or has it been done before? |

Daddy's Closet by LVicariComment: A great shot and processed very well to match the story. "I am his dad that will always be there for him even if I am not one of these glorified people or characters." You will never disappoint him with this attitude. I wish more fathers felt the same way. GREAT PHOTO/STORY! Message edited by author 2008-05-12 01:08:28. |

Are you game?by JudiComment: If I look at my monitor from a high POV (looking down on the monitor) I can clearly see a backdrop with diagonal wrinkles and a horizontal fold line about 50 pixels above the index knuckle on the hand. Look at the monitor as one should eye level and at no horizontal angle, I can faintly see what the background. Looking from a slightly low POV the background appears to be clean.
These factors make me wonder. Is their anything you could of done to make the background (as-is) blend in so it would not show any wrinkles or folds. Do people when the vote look at the photographs at eye-level and perpendicular to their screens (as they should) or do people vote leaned over, propping their head on one hand. Is their monitor to high or low? how does voting while looking at a monitor at an odd angle effect the score of a photograph. I can't help but feel that several of the 59 voters that rated it a 6 would have possibly rated your shot as a 7 if they viewed the photograph correctly. Something to think about. But we can't control everything.
Acer AL2216W 22" widescreen monitor.
