I like your idea but the DOF is way off IMO. I can only read a word or two per line. I think if you would of approached your subject from a different angle it would of made a big difference. The lighting and focus is not to good.

I dunno know what to comment on this photo, really! I see you stepped out of the box on it but it just looks like a picture of a drawing to me. If you would of made a comment to the voter instead of on fish to anther fish [I̢۪m guessing fish] IMO it would of made a big difference.

2 Crabs

Looks slightly out of focus or all the neutral colors are making it seem that way. I can see the crabs if I look closely but they just blend into the background too much to make an impact on me.

Reading or Writing

I see what kind of effect you were striving for but it just didn̢۪t develop well. I think you should of held the hand that was doing the writing a second or so longer where we could of seen it better. I also think you should of taken the picture from the opposite angle. From bottom to top that way if the effect would have developed the way you wanted we [the voters] would be able to view your picture from the perspective of the person doing the reading and writing.

I know you must have purposely set a long shutter for the effect but it just doesn̢۪t work for me. To me it shows more disarray that communication. Just my opinion but I do have to applaud you for thinking outside of the box.

Great close up and detail. I like the focus and yet it has a soft feel. Great job. The only drawback is the right top corner I would crop out the black area. I know it̢۪s not much but it is slightly distracting.
