Bedford Countyby SJCarterComment: This is gorgeous. I'm seeing some tonal range in the barn but it does not carry back into the background which shares equally in the weighting of this image. It seems like you.....stopped. BTW, I really like your work and have dropped in on your portfolio on several accasions. |

Stir of Echoesby SJCarterComment: Though I like the shot....and I like waterfall shots, this is ....ummm....boring??? Are you relyiong too much on the waterfall as your subject? If so, it should not be a consequence of the rule of thirds but rather a fundamental focal point within the composition. |

Cycadby sherpetComment: I love the textures and variety of these images. A little too much shadow and highlight for my liking. The treatment has almost left them somehat cartoonish? I will say that the palms, ferns and so on should hire you as their PR person as you really do transmita love for your subjects. |

in stepby boysetsfireComment: Okay, they're old. I hpeyou had an ambulance nearby as dudein the tartan pants looks a bit tired. Seriously though, this is great shot but Imay have cropped it a bit tighter. I like tight crops like ummm....corn and barley etc. Reallly seriously ..... this is a great shot. |

There can be only one!by MakkaComment: Alright, the dude's colors are all wrong. Like dont you watch America's top model or what?? Buddy, the headless guy has this like thing stuck on top of his head and he's well.....yellow. Like Ick! All it says to me is anger and that certainly does not make me want to dance. You really gotta try harder or get like a Moped or something. Hope that helps. |

Ballooning Practiceby Pug-HComment: This is a beautiful but ..... I would have gone portrait orientation. Not enough to fill the landscape. If you wish for me to criticize the shot, I won't. If you want me to criticize you,I'll be happy to do so.;-) |

Neon Music Shop Windowby SheryllComment: Firstly, BOB is good! Now that we got that out of the way, its not YOUR shot. What I mean by this is that there certainly is a neon object but so what? The neon serves only as a frame and you are relying too much upon someone else's "art" to add value to your image. I like the crop as it is bold and concise but otherwise, what is yours?? You asked .. you got and BTW welcome to the 40s. |

Neufby cryingdragonComment: Okay, this shot had potential but you cropped it too low. I like the distant stare but I find the lighting to be somewhat cold. the focus, yada yada yada is fine but there seems to be a lack of sincerity in the image. I wish I could learn more about the guy in the shot but it is clear that the image is only a facade and unwilling to share any depth. Hope that confuses you! ;-) |
