meditativeby rhipsterComment: This by itself is a nice photo, but I personally think you've got a little over the top with the dodge&burn...
Possibly some curves work, and using a flash to fill in the shadows in front of the boy would have worked better? |

Exhaustedby EvaanComment: Cool.
I like it when I look a photo of an every day object and have that moment of 'What they heck?' before I realise what I'm looking at.
Great colour, and focus/exposure. A creative take on the challenge as well. 7 |

Determinationby kcumanComment: A really interesting crop you've made here.
Classical composure technique says that you should space in the picture for a moving object to 'move into' which you've done, but you've also lopped off your subject.
If the person had looked up, and you used the full 640 pixel height allowed this would have been a great shot image.. As it is, only a 6 for me. |

A Pleasing Shotby Zap228Comment: How can you say chimping? Be interestint to see how many people requested DQ on this... I assume it's zoom blur?
The blown-out white jacket/top and sky dectract from an otherwise interesting idea.. |

Restful Reposeby riversongComment: The point of focus appears to be on her knees, which is slightly distracting, but a nice shot.. Was this posed? I'd be interested to know.. 7 |

Free Spiritby ebertdjComment: This is a cool image, and I really like the colours & composition. Possibly cropping a little off the top and bottom would make it a bit stronger as well..
Unfortunatley with that title it's not a very good match for the challenge, but I like it anyway.. 7 |

ecstasyby ursulaComment: Possibly a little too abstract for the average DPC voter, but I love the colours, and the idea is great.
I would have liked round apetures (highlights) but heck, it's an abstract, so there are no rules! 7 |

The sadness of a carnival workerby drake217Comment: ? he looks bored, but not sad.
You've got the chap in focus well, and exposure is bang on, but the background is really distracting.
Yes, I know it's the context for the photo, but I think a more shallow depth of field, or getting in closer would have made this a better shot. |
