This is a great photo. I feel as if I should not walk there in bare feet as the earth has dried so hard and thin, it may be sharp. The focus is great as well as the cropping. One thing...what about a lower angle? - just a thought. 9

Wonderful shot! The composition is great and the point of view really enhance this photo. One thing - it appears the focused grass area was a bit too sharpened/contrasted creating a somewhat distracting line - I think I would prefer it all slightly blurred. 8

This does not grab my attention. Even with the glass/plastic Texas in the middle, the photo seems a little flat - I'm not sure if I'm explaining this right. The carpet on the right seems off. I can see the different aspects of 'texture', that part is apparent. Sorry, just not that interesting to me - focus and lighting are pretty good though.

This is 'ok'. I think could be a little better. To me, the white balance needs to be fixed - the white is too grey. If the lighting is to stay somewhat dim, I think I would crop in closer. Something is amiss here - it's just not jumping out to me. The focus is good and of course meets the challenge. Still good work.

Very well done! I like the blue. I like the choice of DOF here, emphasizing the slight waves in the material. You can imagine the little holes soaking up the liquids (although I may not have known it was a papertowel if not for the title). The layout is great also (choice of position for the lines/patterns). I like this a lot!!! 9
