Cliff Hangerby connieComment: This looks like a scene out of a movie. I like it. The only think that's distracting is the blur of the little kid. The pencil kinda seems out of place, but if you want to get technical, pencils don't really "belong" in my shot either. |

Blacksheepby whobeeComment: Cool effect on this. I don't really like the DOF though. I wish it was either smaller so the top of the pencil was more blurred or bigger so the whole pencil was in focus. Anyway, it's still one of the better shots this week. |

Pressure Pointby rll07Comment: I think if you found some way to eliminate the shadows, possibly by moving the clamp a few feet from the background, this shot would have more of an impact. Also, it looks like the clamp and the pencil are both a little underexposed. |

Pencil à la Sushiby NeroComment: I think it would look better without the text visible on the pencil. Also, you might want to increase the DOF a little so the whole piece of sushi is sharp. I like the blurred background, though. |
