Splish Splashby JackoComment: The green created as the yellow ducky hits the blue water is great. I wish Ii could give you a twenty. Ten for not overexposing the rubber ducky and ten for a splash shot that is perfectly timed. A 10 however. |

Pucker Up!by markmulkerinComment: This appears a tinge overexposed. Lovely idea though. I especially like the composition with center in the lower left corner and the seed and rind in view. Thanks for the title, it did not take long to orient myself to the subject. A 9. |

Original Idea ;)by dogzComment: It is really difficult to retain definition in highly glossy petals. I have a number of bright red flowers which seem nearly impossible to photograph in natural light so that I retain definition. Here though, you have brought forth highly saturated red, yellow, and blue in a very nice composition which relies to some degree on bright lighting. The question is can this be achieved under diffuse lighting? I really like the blue and yellow. A 9. |

Splish Splash Sploshby L1Comment: I read about desaturating by color and all makes sense now. I think I was quite harsh in rating this picture. It does not make a lot of sense as it is not raining, but I should be rating photography and processing. From that point of view, I would suggest less sharpening. The effect of this shows up on left sides of shirt. . I am raising my rating to a 6.

Yellow: Mathematicians love it!by rahulComment: This looks like selective sampling to prop up a hypothesis. Seriously, though this picture would be very much enhanced by being taken using the diffused lighting techniques used for product marketing. There is a lot of unnecessary glare and shadow. I am curious though as to Diophantane Geometry and Analysis. A 7. |

Utterly Butterlyby chloe1Comment: Yum. I wondered when I would get to a picture of butter. The light spot on the top right really helps brighten this picture up A 7, mainly I think the lighting and composition could be improved. The lighting with more diffused light, and the composition by eliminating black object on left and rearranging the biscuits. I like the crumbs though. |

I really don't like yellowby scottoertelComment: Point taken by yellow cup. An 8. I love the colors and composition. The shadow across the handle is a little harsh even though yellow cups probably deserve such treatment. |

fire awayby clictacameraComment: Not sure what the pole is. The composition is nice, the picture is a little dim even with the bright colored fireplug. A 7. |
