Very interesting effect. Flower only interesting in that it did not suffer from the movement effect. You appear to have some dust on your image sensor which shows up at high f numbers on light backgrounds.

I don't know what the large empty space has to do with the snail. The pixels would have been better invested in providing detail of the snail.
