The focus is a bit soft and the lateral impressions on the skin are somewhat distracting. This is a fairly novel entry in the challenge.

Impenetrable, I find this. Your distribution of focus seems perverse, and it lacks much sense of grace, photographically. That may well be absolutely as you intended ...

Ah, it took a moment to register. It's a belly-button! Please don't get offended, but the picture is just simply too blurry to work. I think the idea of a belly-button in a corner might work for minimalism though.

The belly button seems a little softly focused. 4

The lack of focus makes it hard to see, but I'm sure you've been told that already a hundred times by other commentors

Excellent idea - although would have been better without that mark on the skin from the wardrobe... 7.

While it is indeed a minimalistic image, I feel it's not an interesting one. Besides, the main subject here -the belly button- is very soft, almost out of focus. The composition is, however, fine. Better luck next time.

Seems out of focus (not sure if this was done on purpose, but IMO it needs better focus).

Fabulous concept!

this is a wonderful idea and the composition is right - but it did need the focus on the belly button itself.

Very interesting...it would be nice if the belly button was more in focus.

nice idea, pity about the focus

The old belly button. Of course there are two ways to go here: one is dead focus on the subject (the button) with a wide aperture to soften the upper part of the body or go for the controversial soft focus. Personally, I would have gone for the sharp because the skin tonal values are flat lit, that is, no overbearing shadows to detract. But, hey, the concept is good and you get one bump from 5 to 6.

good idea but poorly executed

Depth of field?

Being way off center works here. Usually I do not like subject so far in corner.

While the composition is interesting, the focus is too soft.

great idea, it is a shame that it is out of focus.
as a nude model myself, let meoffer a piece of advice - always have the model remove any articles of clothing that might cause red marks or unslightly lines at least an hour before shooting them, so the skin is smooth and unblemished for the camera.

This image is blurry and out of focus. The shadows around the subject call some attention to it, but in general there isn't anything to direct the eye.

Really needs to be more in focus. Good, original concept.

Cute concept, with the folds of the skin breaking monotony for the background. This would have been an excellent image... but it's not sharp. Scoring it still a 7, though.

Navel too out of focus for me...
