The only place we could think of to try this was at our local Historical Museum. This was in the door way of a 1900's one room school house. Dead center in the room is an old iron stove used to heat the building. Since it had been there for over 100 years -- moving it wasn't an option. I needed to be a bit relaxed with how I did the shot. As I tell my kids -- You get what you get and you don't throw a fit. |

Regent's Park Sunsetby kearockComment: Hello Kendall -- nice photo! I've been wanting to try one like this but haven't had the opportunity as yet. If you have photoshop, I'd suggest playing around with the Selective Color. Try upping the black level some and see what happens. It may add a little more punch to the photo.

Yea -- I'm still trying to get the hang of this new 50mm lens. It's a lot more sensitive than I'm used to. |

Reflections 2by SJCarterComment: Naw... flip it back over. There are sticks coming out of the sky which looks funky. I do like the addition of the sky (or is that now the water?) :-) Your colors look better in this version |

Congratulations on placing so high in this well photographed challenge. Would like to believe it's the new camera but I'm sure is the excellent action photographer behind the camera. |

Not my granddaughter but a friends granddaughter. (whew!) My 20 something kids aren't ready for that step yet... or as Amanda will tell you -- EVER! |
