I think the ink you chose for your duo-tone may have been a little to saturated. There are a lot of midtones in your picture, so it comes out very pink. Something to try next time!

Ah the silliness! I thought it was a cute idea- reminds me of one of those Richard Scary childrens books. I think the monkey has a car just like this! The main thing that turned me off about this picture was the color of the wheels and roll bar. I didn't realize that you had used a different kind of banana- to me it just looked like they had gone bad under the studio lights, and thus were kind of icky.

I know there is always some debate about the kind of pictures that we take on DPC- are they fine art, are they commerical, are they allowed to be utterly silly? I think that there is a place for all of these kinds of pictures, and I wouldn't worry about the nay-sayers.
