Greetings from the Critique Club!

And...Congratulations on a top ten finish with this wonderful shot.

Technically this is a wonderful exposure! Dof is excellent with all points of the picture from foreground to horizon being sharp and clear...important in emphasising the "Vanishing Point".

Your exposure settings have combined to show good detail within the "corridor" of the trees. Looking outside this corridor beyond the trees the light becomes dominant as detail gives way to it. This creates a feeling of a secure, intimate place where the couple are walking with one another. It again further accentuates the concept of the vanishing point as it strengthens the feeling of the converging lines.
Most pictures submitted depicted two converging lines. This capture shows the lines of the edges of the pathway, the line of tree trunks and the tree canopy all running parallel to each other. A very strong depiction of the challenge topic.
Colour is rich and your choice of changing the hue have made it a warm picture to look at although the a purple hue appears on the arms of your pedestrians...but not distractingly noticeable. Perhaps a little desat would work, but this is a matter of personal choice as the comments left by appreciative viewers indicate.
Asthetically speaking....a nice warm picture to look at that draws the viewer into a walk along a path with this couple. The eye follows naturally from the foreground to the horizon.
You have much to be proud of with this image.
Again, congratulations on a beautiful picture and thankyou for sharing it with us.
Kindest Regards,
Randy Drumm

I love the lighting in this shot. Focus is bang on.
I think this could almost be considered a botany "study" of the leaf while at the same time an artful, pleasing image. Top ten.
