Take my hand, so you don't slip!by loz1Comment: Very pretty picture. Great DOF and colors. The only element that I found distracting is the shadowed area in the bottom left. But otherwise, nice shot. |

... on one leg ...by GordonComment: I really like your use of shallow DOF to draw attention accross to the main subject. The vivid colors and shapes are very attention-grabbing. .... 7 |

High Level Concentrationby hughletherenComment: Great capture. The expression on the subject's face speaks volumes about her precarious position. Personally I would have liked to see the subject more emphasized though. Maybe if the camera was held vertically to emphasize the hieght, rather that the length of rope bridge. |

The Gymnistby debitiptonComment: I like your choice of composition and framing here. The way the subject fills the frame is great. One thing I'm not crazy about is the cropped out background. It seems to give it a somewhat "cut & paste" feel. If the original background was distracting to the photo, maybe a really shallow DOF and/or selective levels adjustment to brighten it would have had a positive effect. If you're working in Pshop, then maybe this photo would be a prime candidate for using a radial blur in the background. |

The Ballerina...by jmleliiComment: Very pretty capture. Your use of sephia color and shallow DOF through the window, combined with the elegance of your subject create an almost etherial quality to the photo. I like how balance is not only illustrated by the subject alone, but also implied by the contrast between the curving lines of the ballerina and the straight lines on the window. Nice work .... 8 |

Achieving Equilibriumby TooCoolComment: This is a great shot. I hope that most of the voters "get it" in relation to your title. Besides the inherent difficulty of capturing lighting, you've managed to get some great composition and framing of the event. The sillouhette of the house and tree, along with the subtle coloration totally make the shot...... 9 |

Nature's Balancing Actby LVEComment: Nice capture. The mixture of darkness and light works very well to create and almost "storybook" appearance. |
