Drink or Driveby wkoffelComment: Thanks so much everyone! I'm thrilled to have my first top ten finish, especially after last week's close 14th. This shot has really grown on me, and I'm glad that people voted some of the important life choices into the top ten.
I'm really thrilled. This site is growing quickly to mean a lot to me and my new hobby of photography. All your feedback is invaluable to me.

Hidingby CamComment: I get it. A little too subtle perhaps. But clever. :) |

Summer Refreshmentby joannsComment: this is a fantastic shot, but doesn't benefit very much from the desaturation, so I can't give it a 9-10 score. But a very evocative capture. |

Red Golden Deliciousby ChiquiComment: this has an oversaturated feel in the red. I don't think it needs to be so bright for the effect to work. |

Catchby FirstyComment: the desat job on this looks very sloppy, and the contrast is low. But a nice idea, and a neat capture of the critical moment. |

Middle Class America's Greatest Choiceby lucidgirlComment: Really interesting idea. Forces the viewer to pause for a moment to understand the choice, which then draws attention to the interesting out-of-frame composition. The hilite on the spoon is distracting. (perhaps from the flash?) |

Hat Choiceby NRRonComment: I wish you'd cropped out the t-shirts on the right. |

So Many Choices, So Little Timeby MomoComment: The inversion is a neat idea here, but it doesn't work very well with the shadow of the remote. Otherwise, nice execution. I considered this idea myself! |

Mmmmmmm... Beeeerby mcrochipComment: Very noisy image. maybe some NeatImage would clean it up? Glad you didn't use the flash though. And neat cans! |

Untitledby fallingretinaComment: I'm sure I'm not the only one to tell you that it's too dark to understand the subject. This happened to me on one challenge I entered. Don't let it discourage you. Keep shooting! (umm...so to speak....shoot photos please!) |
