Shipwreckby ZoomdakComment: Shiver me timbers and land ho matey! Though Jack Sparrow's not going to like what you've done to his ship, I'll give 'er a fine rating for mood, presentation and clarity. The ghosts of the "Graveyard of the Pacific" appreciate this sentinel, the Peter Iredale (if I'm not mistaken), which stands as a lasting epitaph to those many sailors who went down to Davy's Locker attempting to cross the Columbia River bar. |

StormyWeathersby ZoomdakComment: If you've never been to the Oregon coast in winter on a stormy eve, you won't know how true this photo reads, with the loose sand blowing fast across the hardpack wet sand, the sky filled with rain, and no human soul in sight. Great capture of a barren but beautiful landscape! My only crit: a closer crop might give this photo more punch, with less sandy foreground and more emphasis upon the sea monolith and isolation of the coastal village. |

Breaking Limitationsby madhatterComment: Great finish Mr. Madhatter! The energy and punch of this shot can be felt. Cool work. This may be your top score in DPC? Look forward to more great shots upon your return to the coast. |

Epilogueby ZoomdakComment: Oregon coastal wonder of wonders. Lovely way to draw attention away from the most often viewed scene of the entire west coast of the USA to the ephemeral glory of the heavenlies. Grand photo! 10 |

Slalomby ZoomdakComment: Cropping is just right intensifying the action. Greyscale was an excellent choice. It might be my imagination, but the lake line seems a little tipped (right side a touch higher). The focus of the waterskier's face makes the shot, as he prepares for the whipping action ahead. Cool stuff! |
