After the snowby sbeaumontComment: Creative use of "negative" space, though doesn't express A.A's style. I like it though. |

Oregon - We Love Dreamers by MickComment: Oswald West, former governor of Oregon, declared the Oregon beaches to belong to all the people, forbidding anyone to claim one grain of sand from the high tide line out to sea, from Astoria to Brookings as private property. This billboard is in that same spirit, welcoming all inlanders to come out to dream, to soak up the beauty of the north Oregon Coast. I love the child on the rock, putting perspective and human story into the scene. The golden glow is extraordinary. By the way, the larger rock in the photo is known locally as Lady Rock. It's either Lady or Lincoln, I get the two confused. Congrats on the ribbon, Michael. Thanks for a great billboard! |

Auchumpkee Creek Covered Bridgeby CarolinaGirlComment: Beautiful warm wood tones in this shot, evoking the old time world when things were built of wood, from the forest surrounding them. I love the stone pillars. Much better than my covered bridge entry in this challenge. |

Celloby MarkComment: Love the cello, warm tones, though the strings seem just a wee bit blurred. Great alternative to the other entries. |

A Bridge to Immortalityby sacredspiritComment: The artist's truth, "less is more" shines through this simple but profound photo. Great silhoulette, with the strongest bridge message in the whole challenge. I especially love the hint of the moon just above the steeple/cross, evoking a yearning for the heavens beyond this mortal life. Thanks for an extraordinary entry. 10 |

Bridge to the Skyby biodorkComment: My choice for a ribbon...an outstanding photo: colors, composition, capture, lighting focus, depth. Mythical. What is that white glitch in the turf in the lower left? That's the only possible detractor. Still, a standout in an excellent collection of photos. 10 |

Netcher Road Covered Bridgeby indianzfanComment: I enjoy the complementary colors in the vibrant red and blue, set off by the purity of the white trim and snow. Great time of day to capture this historic beauty. You have my covered bridge photo outdistanced by two whole points! Best of luck. |

Bridge over falling watersby wetlandComment: Lovely sepia duotone for this covered bridge. You have my covered bridge shot beat hands down! I love the symmetry of the bridge siding and the spillway lines. Best of luck! |
