Fort McHenry In The Baltimore Harborby GolferDDSComment: Beautiful composition. The stack of cannon balls on the left provides interesting perspective and lines that lead the eye naturally toward the center and other subjects. This is a photo that the eye simply wants to wander around for awhile. Very well done. |

7 at 7by KylieComment: I recall seeing this during the voting but never got back to vote or comment. It is a tremendous accomplishment and a photo you should be proud to have taken. Outstanding in every way compositionally and the technical stuff doesn't get in the way. Very nice! |

A Capitol Morning in Wisconsinby kirbicComment: Hey, a fellow Madisonian! I photograph the WI capitol often and can appreciate how tough it is to find a unique and compelling angle or perspective. I love the way you've composed this. The leading lines of the two "wings" lead naturally to the center columned area, and the main subject, the dome, rises majestically above, beautifully off-center. Excellent job technically as well, focus and color are perfect and don't get in the way of the overall impact. Well done! |

Tower Bridgeby redmoonComment: This photo is quite an accomplishment. Everybody has seen thousands of pictures of this monument, but you have managed to make it appear unique and new. The vivid luminosity of the bridge and water, contrasted with the dark reddish tones in the sky is brilliant. Some voters may quibble with your choice of exposure, but I like the slightly blown look to some areas - it makes it glow and nearly vibrate with life and excitement. Well done photo. I predict a top 10 finish at worst. |

Mt. Soledadby rkligmanComment: Wow. This is a great picture. The centered symmetry was a great choice. The deep blue gradient of the sky is excellent, but the internal illumination of the openings in the cross is positively stunning. Absolutely superb image. |

Highway to Heaven (Lincoln Cathedral)by FalcComment: A lovely concept carried out beautifully. The red and white leading lines at the bottom draw the attention effortlessly to the subject at the top. The tones are great. Good job! |

7 largest droplets hanging by a thread.........by nordicComment: A beautiful abstract. The light and shadow play and the lines leading from the edges to the center line of drops provide lots of visual interest, with the eye always being drawn back to the seven principle drops. This would be a lovely abstract print - you should be pleased with this effort! |
