"Heeere's Johnny!"-The Shining (1980)by EssAreDubyaComment: The best of the The Shining entries. Your model even looks like Nicholson. The sharp canines, the stubble and teh wild look in the eyes are perfect. The lighting is perfect. The focus may be a little soft, but I can live with it. |

Return of the Jediby LifeLostComment: Love the bravery in using Legos, but the whole thing seems a little too dark. I know Star Wars was dark, but to me, this just needs a smidge more detail. |

Lawrence of Arabia by SammieComment: If not a ribbon, certainly a top 10. If not, you were robbed.
What more do I need to say? |

Home Aloneby DeniseBernadetteComment: God, how I hate the Home Alone movies. I don't even like to see commercials or previews for them. Or still photographs. They maker my skin crawl. But I won't hold that against you.
The photo is a good recreation of the scene, but I think the white balance is a little off. It just seems to yellow. |

Field of Dreams - "If you build it... they will come" by NstiG8trComment: Do they get much closer to recreating the scene than this? I'm guessing you went to the actual cornfield in Iowa. Either that or you tracked down seven 1919 White Sox uniforms and seven guys to wear them.
The focus seems a little soft, but he more I look at it, I think it actually works. |

Serpicoby jdannelsComment: I don't know that this screams out "Serpico" to me, other than the resemblence to Pacino. But it has been a LONG time since I have seen the movie. It is an excellent photo otherwise. The muted colors and the shadowy lighting are great. |

The Fishermen at padma riverby DirgeelucidatrComment: LOVE the IR and the blues and the smooth water. As far as the movie goes -- never heard of it. I found "Boatman of the Padma River" on imdb.com, so I guess that's what you were going for. |

Bambi as an adultby animalComment: The lighting really harsh, and Bambi is right smack dab in the middle. Not sure if it works for me. |

Reservoir Dogsby BoltiComment: I like the letter-box framing, but I think that would work best if the image were a 16:9 aspect ratio. It's almost a full screen and wide screen version combined. Ither than that, the lighting and coloring of the shot is excellent. |
