| 09/18/2002 06:31:00 PM | A Picture of a Pictureby GolferDDSComment: Could you have gotten a better shot from over his shoulder? I know it is overdone to do that, but I think some of what he is painting got lost in your image and takes away from your shot. Nice job, though. |
| 09/09/2002 11:39:00 AM | Afternoon coffee by malapropamComment: Thank you everyone for the lovely comments. I wish I could take full credit for "finding" this couple, but my wonderful boyfriend saw them first, and handed me this opportunity. I really enjoy taking candid shots and they were just so adorable, all dressed up on Saturday afternoon, sitting at the Third St. Promenade, an open air mall, in Santa Monica, California. Just as I went to take the first shot, the old man got up....so, I had to wait, surreptitiously, to catch them, together. And, I liked this one the best, with him still putting his change in his pocket, while she is opening her sugar packet. They seem to be separated, yet they are very much together. Thank you all again for the wonderful votes and comments. |

| 09/05/2002 05:55:00 PM | Lap Dogby KimblyComment: Nice shadows. I'd have liked it a little lighter, but I do think the composition is very strong. And the facial expression says a lot to me...nice job. |
| 09/05/2002 05:37:00 PM | Come Back Wilsonby darylbrownComment: Looks like fun!! I like that you kept the ball in the picture, although I would have liked to see more of the facial expressions(which is always the challenge of the candid shot, I think!) |
| 09/05/2002 05:48:00 PM | Frog Huntby HoltwComment: Hey, this could be a picture of my nephews!! I like this shot. Very candid and real! |
| 09/05/2002 05:20:00 PM | Kissingby arnitComment: Nice idea, but I think your silhouettes get lost in the rest of the darkness. Otherwise, I love the shot. (I bet a lot of people think this is posed...) |
