Water Managementby gustoComment: What a fun lizard - the reflection on they eye is really wonderful and the way his little claws wrap around the handle. The DOF is great - how it shows the head and shoulders crisply and then the tail is blurred. I don't care for the banding of the border on the top and bottom. |

Reach for the Flossby nitro102Comment: What a great idea for a healthy habit. I wish the label was a bit sharper and maybe the background either black and matte or lighter (I know the floss wouldn't show up against a lighter background easily). I like the casual look of it - the floss just lying there. |

Still Plays With Food: Peas in my Mashed Potatoesby WildflowerJoyComment: The colors, especially the plate are wonderful. I like the idea of playing with your food being a habit but without the title, I would have just thought that this was a photo of some sort of mashed potato and pea dish - perhaps a fork in the frame would help. The colors/contrast could be bumped just a smidge. The composition is really good, I like the choice of a plate with banding on it - it helps to pull the eye around the frame. |

Morning essentials. by BradComment: Beautiful. I wish my morning coffee looked like this - that'd wake me up. Or at least please me more. The framing and saturation and composition is all wonderful. I'm not sure about the white and black border, but top marks from me on this one. |

Vicesby tails57Comment: Nicely framed with the bottle in the foreground - I like the composition - I wish the smoke was a little more prominent. It's very well lit - quite nice and I like the decoloring of the photo - it makes it feel like ash. |

Caffiendby briphotoComment: Very nice idea for the habits challenge - the color is very nice and evocative of any Starbucks in the world. The horizon line seems a little off - the frame feels a few degrees off clockwise. I'm not sure about the framing of the straw going up and off to the right - composition-wise I think it might work better on the other side. |

Gone Fishin'by NanpantanmanComment: Succinct and understated. I like the off centering of the sign and the rust stains on the door. Could be slightly more saturated - it feels slightly flat. |

Always Scratchingby TerryGeeComment: I like this uncommon shot of a duck. The textures on the feathers and scales on the foot are amazingly crisp. And the DOF with the grass defined around the duck but blurred in the foreground and background is really great. I would give the shot a little more room at the bottom, but other than that it's really great. |

Stressedby bruskiComment: Nice lighting and shadows, really captures the habit. The skintones are exposed very nicely. The use of negative space in the upper right is very good and contributes to the composition as a whole. The amount of spit in the teeth is a little distracting from the nail biting part. |

Hitting The Snooze Buttonby ShakeyComment: Nice shot - good framing and composition. The clean, neutral background helps a lot. The actual positioning of the hammer feels a little off (it's not hitting the clock squarely) but that's a minor complaint. It drives home the feeling of snooze alarms. |
