Gentle Assuranceby L1Comment: What a learning experience - good find. Everything works, but I wish the mom's face didn't cover the child's head quite so much. Colors are great with the b&w background. |

A touch of colorby WgridleyComment: I really like the soft pastel blurry background. Nice exposure works well. The image doesn't shout touch - it barely whispers. |

soft glowby whiteroomComment: OK - here's the good news and the bad news. Good - It's a great study in texture with a perfect background. The colors are well mixed with a background that makes both the texture and the color stand out. Focus is nicely done. Bad: The composition is "ok" but the horn right on the border drawsy your eye up and out of the frame. It would be far better if you could see more of the eye and especially if the eye had a catchlight. The three white small highlights inside the eye are a bit unfortunate. Bottom line: Does it make me want to touch it? Is the study of texture strong enough to make me "feel" it? YES - but it's not my most favorite of the challenge. |

Touch down...by akhaterComment: An absolutely beautiful seascape and sunset. Touch is the weakest link, but I hope the voters can stretch a bit and pretend the sun is touching the sea at the horizon. This one belongs in a coffee-table book - or hanging on a wall, framed to 20x30. |

Securityby BudComment: Superb moment - what a cute expression. This is one of the strongest submissions - but I must admit I'm not too keen on the muddy print. There a lot of gray values in the print but it seems to lack really strong blacks or whites. What you lose in the print quality - you MORE than gain in the WOW factor you've captured. Should finish way on up there. |

A Baby's Touch by MattBComment: So sweet - and yes "touching" _ physically and emotionally! Excellent, excellent. |

The Pigeonby yael27Comment: Marvelous position of the bird - the pattern in the feathers is superb. Border is way too powerful and detracts from the scene. Composition is perfect! |

Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juiceby nicoledbComment: Great colors - and good capture of the action, albeit not exactly a lot of action. It would be better without the finfer/thumb showing at all. |

Strike Twoby alanfreedComment: Nice seat you had! Ball is in a perfect position - another 1/100 second and it would be lost in the pants leg. Good submission that nails the challenge. |
