not what i'm worthby bk247Comment: Unusual. Sound idea - but the blue cast and large white overblown area destroys the image for me. |

part of a podby slonkoComment: I truly love everything about this image but the title (and I don't cosider the title when scoring.) Exceptional backlighting, great composition. |

Part and Pastimeby afarlandComment: Wonderful selection of background color - the deep blue really accents the white and red of the ball. I'd like to see just an ever-so-slight rotation down of the ball - so that the stitches did not merge with the top border. Perfect exposure showing great texture on the ball. Black border is (too) powerful. Top 10. |

Up and Downsby graphicfunkComment: Nicely done! An excellent study in lighting - nothing is really obvious. Great textures and arrangement of the glasses. |

Black and whiteby JinjitComment: Wonderful textures and lines. The catchlight in the eye is a great addition. Composition is right on. It's one of my top 5. |

Hard Drive by dogzComment: Stunning. You get grades of A+ in nearly all areas: lighting, composition, exposure, D0F, presentation (I love the slim Jim look.) Artistically, the way the binary number and their "shadows" merge and converge is a true materpeice of execution. Get ready for the ceremony, I suspect a ribbin is heading your way. |

Inside The Mouth Caveby mpburtonComment: I voted this low for several reasons. The subject matter is fine, rather abstract with some interesting shapes and lines. It does look, as the title suggests, like a "mouth cave." But the image quality is lacking in many ways. First, as a black and white - it is very muddy - with no really white whites. It does have strong blacks, and a limited ranges of grays. Lighting seems to be coming from the top, and from the right as well, but the shadows don't add much to the composition. The top of the image looks to like the surface of the moon - which adds another texture that competes with the bottom. |
