Very interesting and different macro picture! The texture of the fabric on the emery strawberry is great and the colors are really nice. To me, the picture seems too busy with too many things not in focus - it might have been better with just one or three pins. The out of focus pins in front of the strawberry are especially distracting to me.

Very interesting picture. The detail on the salt and peppercorns is good, I like the reflection underneath them a lot. The picture seems a bit grainy and dark to my eyes.

To me, this really doesn't seem like a macro at all. You have very nice focus on the words. The background is very grainy.

Blueberries

The blue on the berries is lovely. I think this would have been so much nicer without the dirt on the berries. The focus and lighting are really excellent.

Rainbow Loops

Unique idea. The colors on the fruit loops are great. The lighting is also good. I think a solid color background would have worked better, perhaps white - then the colors of the cereal would have been the only colors in the picture. Really a nice artistic idea!

Peacock Feather

Really a nice picture. It looks fantastic in the thumbnail but at full size the highlights look blown out. I think the iridescence of the peacock feathers this close might confuse the camera.

Busy, busy, busy

Wow, this is really up close and personal with an ant! The colors are great and the composition is pretty good, too. There is a lot of motion in the picture and not much is in focus. A faster shutter speed might have helped.

Spin Your Tail Feathers

This is really a wonderfully clear, colorful and well focused picture. I think it would have been much better against some other sort of background. It looks like it's on denim or some other fabric.. The clarity of the hook and the writing is amazing. I'd really be interested to know what you used for lighting.

What a cool picture! To my eyes, it would be even more interesting if there were more light on the snake's face and more of his/her body was in focus. The color is lovely and I love the shine on the facial skin and eye.

Funny Face

This dragon fly really does have a funny face and almost looks like it's smiling! To my eyes, it would be nice to see a bit more of the body in focus.
