That's a scary picture. Could be a little brighter on his face and darker on the body. I'm sure you didn't have time for a bunch of shots though. I'd be scared to death. Good shot though.

like the idea but would like to see it with better lighting on the snake's head. A lot of the detail seems to be lost in the shadows

What a cool picture! To my eyes, it would be even more interesting if there were more light on the snake's face and more of his/her body was in focus. The color is lovely and I love the shine on the facial skin and eye.

I like how the snake's form slithers from the corner ans the turns back to look at you - nice composition , nice for the eye to follow. The narrow DOF works nicely too. I wish the snake face were more in the light! Could you dodge it in a bit more?

Great macro. A little tongue would be cool.

Great picture and it's not a bug or a flower. I love the focus, DOF and reflections. Great capture.

Great composition, I just wish the lighting was a little better on the left side.

Personal preferance, of course, but I'd also love to see this cropped tighter so that magnificant, well focused head didn't have to compete with the OOF body.

Nose-to-nose look~ focus is perfect on the eye which is good. The white base looks like snow which seems a bit unnatural for the snake. Exposure appears right on.
