Nice shot. I think this captures the notion of rowing very nicely. A slightly different angle on the shot might have allowed you to get rid of the bright sky on the upper right that is a little distracting.

Nice shot. I think this captures the essence of at least one aspect of baseball very well. I like the even lighting, and I think the sepia tones work for this shot. This is one of my top picks for this challenge.

This shot looks way too dark. I can't even see what it is! The two parts that aren't in the shadows look like they are out of focus. Get more light on the subject is the only advice I can give you.

Excellent! I like this shot. The fast shutter speed captures the action very nicely. I definitely get the notion and essence of polo from this shot. The shot is well lit, too. I'm not crazy about the border, and I wish the cropping weren't quite as tight at the top. Still, this is my favorite shot for this challenge.

Great idea! In my opinion there are some things that could be improved to really help this photo stand out. For one, I think the soft focus and small DOF hurts this shot. The drive has nice, sharp, clean lines that would look great in perfect focus There are two main points of interest in this shot that are spread out on opposite sides of the shot and are competing for my attention. I think this shot could also be improved by either zooming in more on the arm or the spindle (whichever one you want to focus on) or zooming out and including both in focus as a single subject in the image with the platters serving as the background. That is all just my opinion, though! :)

Interesting shot. I like the light reflections. The shot is a bit on the small side- I can't make out as much detail in the picture as I would like. The focus also looks a little soft on the bridge, or maybe there was some slight camera movement during the exposure.

Very nice shot! I love the even lighting on the rims of the bowls and the reflections in the glass. The color of the wine bothers me a little bit- it looks orange!?

Excellent night shot! I like the colors and the soft foreground. The light reflections in the water are a nice touch.

Nice picture. Great lighting and detail. I'm not a fan of the water drop, though. I think it detracts from the simplicity aspect of this shot some. Still, I like it!
