Solaceby KrazyKatComment: Very nice. The trees in the background look like a painint. Inpressionist. Mood captured. Job well done. 7, just-married |

Untitled by tlalondeComment: Terrific expression. Poor kid, he must not want to ride that ride. Actually, that's the exact expressionmy nephew gets when he's just been reprimanded. This is a very nice portrait, -- which to me does not make it "not candid", it's an unintentional portrait. The framing makes the shot. Black and white was a good decision. I like it. 8, just-married |

Please don't talk my ear off!by joshuazhangComment: The red just stands out in this image. Nice. I like that. I like the composition as well. They make interesting center pieces. I wish it really did look as if she were telling him a secret. In fact, to me, it looks as if she is picking at his blemishes. Still, nice shot. 7, just-married |

Buzzedby CreativeFlyPhotoComment: VERY nicely done. The motion blur is terrific. I tried for a shot like this this week, but failed miserably. The colors here are also superb. I also like the different perspective. Good choice to shoot from above. Now, here are my questions. I have the opportunity to learn: how did you manage to avoid graininess in such low light conditions? Also, did you use your flash? How long was your shutter open and did you use a tripod? I appreciate it so much if you take the time to respond to these. BTW, this is in my top ten for the week. 8, just-married |

Through The Looking Glassby JeanComment: Interesting approach. I like the angle and the shooting at the mirror a lot. I assume this was a mirror on the ceiling. Well done. I like the expression of the girl looking up and the body language of the man looking down. Is it in an elevator? Interesting how close the people are standing. The only part I cannot fit in is the girl on the right. Is it some trick she mirrors are playing? She seems to stand where the back of the person with the glasses' back should be. Interesting. 7, just-married |

Art of singingby habesComment: This is one I meant to comment on and missed somehow. TERRIFIC portrait. This could be an album cover. Great job. No doubt the placement/score would have been higher if the challenge were "Portraits". I know there were people who may have questioned the candidness of the photo. Good work anyway. |

Going Up!by jdincolspringsComment: EXCELLENT expression. Nicely framed, bright, colorful. Only nitpick is that I wish for a less soft focus on his face. but it doesn't ruin the photo for me. Far from it: this is in my top ten picks for the week. 8, just-married |

Spriteby FrooberComment: Aptyly titled. Very nice detail. Sat thinking for a while about the silhouette and whether or not it worked for me. In the end, I decided it does. Kind of add to the "just a moment in time" idea. Seems nostalgic. I like it. 8, just-married |

Shotgun Salad Dressingby jperez1690Comment: I don't understand why people think an action shot can't also be candid. You deserved a better placement; but hey, it's the photo and not the placement that matters. Great job. My 9 stands. |

Shotgun Salad Dressingby jperez1690Comment: QUITE NICE. So, I'm curious if this was a lucky catch or if you had your camera set to continuous advance? Not that it matters, it just helps me grow as a photographer. I have nothing constructive to add to this photo. It's great. In my top three for the week. 9, just-married |
