Skating in the Snowby rlinn3Comment: Sweet capture. I like that you didn't "correct" the holes in her stockings. They tell part of the story. I would like to see more negative space above her ideally, but I realize that might not have made for a good photos depending on the surroundings. |

Daddy, can I feed the birds?by gseidenComment: I was enjoying the beautiful idyllic peacefulness of this scene. UntilI got to the little boys jacket and the white stripes (what is that?) are so harsh that it yanked me right out of my reverie. I think I would have cropped him out. |

best friendby wickedpeteComment: First thought: I hope she's 18! (I'm sure she is, so that isn't offered as criticism, merely to let you know my gut reaction to the shot.) Unpon further viewing, the lens distorion, combined with the pose (the way she's leaning forward) give the impression of sitting on a toilet - the panties probably further that impression. The softening of the skin is too much for my taste, and the removal/cloning of the wrinkling in her forhead seems off to me. By that I mean both that I can see remnants of the process of removal, and that it seems unnatural with her eyebrows raised like that for there not to be some wrinkling in her forhead. |

Nowhereby TrollComment: Neat, I like the shape of the bird soaring in the negative space of the clouds. You've captured such a feeling of movement in a landscape, which is nice. Also, I really like that the colors aren't everly digital. |

An Icelandic Landformby bergwaltersComment: Beautiful image, and very nicely processed. My only nitpick is that there seems to be some funky cloning issue above the mountain. Still, very nicely done. |

Vintage Dollby CalliopeKelComment: Great expression! I like the crop as well. The conversion is a little contrasty for my taste, but it works. I like the added grain too. I think the eyes look unnaturally dodged. The butterfly in the hat draws my eye a bit away from her face, so I might have cropped down a bit further, but that's just a nitpick. |

Lucky Numbersby soniecatComment: Sonya - I like this. Really clever interpretation of the challenge. I think the motion blur adds an extra something to the shot too. |

Walking the edgeby tazzaComment: Neat! It looks like the lake is frozen over (but not turned white like they do) and they're walking on the water. |
