Multi-simplicityby LouisonComment: I like this image but to be honest, I can't really tell you why. I guess it's that it all works together. The complexity of the shadows is intriguing. "Is it a picture of the paper, or of the shadows?" is what I keep thinking about. Congratulations on a fine image. Hope it does well in the voting. (9) |

The strongest aspect of this picture is the story it tells. The comp is superb. Foreground/background is stunning. You could have rendered in black & white but the colors drag the eye to just the right places. I'm glad you didn't. (10) |

I like the complexity of the subject, and the way it impacts color and shadow. Very nice levels and contrast. The parts along the top and top right distract a bit but I honestly can't find a way to crop to avoid it. Good luck. (9) |

Marble and Gameboy. A Generation Gapby ShakeyComment: Wonderful shot. Nicely framed. Excellent levels. Good color. The title works well with the image. There's one little hot spot on the right I might have cloned out, but the rules don't allow it. Otherwise nearly perfect. (10) |
